Lots about the Lees, Why I Can't Stand Benjamin Franklin, and a New Favorite about the Gentry
Excellent round-up. Never found Ben Franklin interesting to be honest. I always gravitated towards Washington and Adams and Jefferson as I got older. Charles Carroll too. Hell, I even rather drink with Hamilton than tolerate Franklin.
Carroll is a fascinating figure. I’d like to do a show on him eventually
That would be great. If you need some books, I know Brad J. Birzer has one on him.
Yeah a reading list on him and the family generally would be great. I’ll I’ve read on him so far was the section on him
In The Old Revolutionaries
Here's two books on him:

Wonderful stuff. I've been publishing illustrated vignettes of pivotal moments in history - have more than 100 now ranging from 44 BC to 2034.

Would love to figure out how to build up interest in American history, because seeing my nephew's 3rd-grade civics text book - we need help!
Thank you! Very cool
