Great article as always!

Just remembered a great, out of copyright film from 1934 by the excellent Harold Lloyd that pertains to what you've written here. It's called "The Cat's Paw." You can find it free on most streaming platforms including YouTube and Archive.org.

It's very old-fashioned in that they dare to call the Chinese by their correct noun, namely "Chink."

But the way the main character handles the corruption and crime within his hometown makes it worth watching for that alone. It is a very enjoyable film.

That was very, very solid.

The author says that Trump is a barrier to proper reform through perfidious obstinacy.

Elsewhere, I just wrote that Trump’s biggest accomplishment will be shitting the Overton window to allow different types of debate. I’m of the opinion that he’s a net positive.

I was trying to say that his big barrier to accomplishing anything is perfidious obstinacy from the usual suspects. Sorry if I misphrased that

I just reread it you communicated it well, I misread it.

I am at my cottage on the shores of Lake America (formerly Lake Ontario ) and I hereby declare Trump to be the most consequential President of my lifetime (1963).

I adore him: no homo.

Mark Steyn has been writing for years that you can vote for whomever you want but the results will be the same: more debt, more third world immigrants, more un won wars.

Democracy is not power to the people, it's power to the state. And the numbers after 100 years of full-scale democracy show it.

Tax burden from 15% to 50% of GDP

Regulatory burden: 200 times higher

Surveillance: camera's everywhere

Freedom of speech: use my pronouns! don't say N*gger
