Subscribers,
Thank you for your constant support as we have gained a foothold in the Substack ecosystem. We greatly appreciate your support, your comments, and your sharing of our articles.
We particularly thank the paid subscribers who have kept supporting us as we decided what to do for a premium benefit. We have settled on this: paid-subscriber-only audio. You can set it up on most podcasting apps (directions below) or listen directly on Substack, but, after this one, an advertisement for the feature, it will only be available to premium subscribers. We also will be doing occasional paid-only articles, audio articles, and podcast episodes. Thank you again for your support, and please leave a comment with what you think. I admit I am still getting used to speaking these things rather than just writing them, so please forgive my occasional stumbling over words, such as when I accidentally say “Universal” instead of “Unilateral” toward the end of the recording; I shall endeavor to improve.
That being said, thank you all again, and if you are a free subscriber, please consider becoming a paid subscriber to support our project and have access to these audio renditions of the articles, as listening to them is often more manageable than reading a lengthy article. Enjoy!
How to Set Up on Your Favorite Podcasting App
If your podcasting app of choice has an option to add RSS feed podcasts (we recommend Overcast for this; it is free, refuses to censor, and works well), you can add these audio versions of articles to it. Here are the directions provided by Substack (scroll down to “Manually add a private RSS feed to your podcast app”) for connecting your Substack audio episodes, including these, to your podcast app. Enjoy!
