Untapped goes hard! It's interesting to experiment with ways that let people get rid of destructive middlemen. This reminds me of Community-Supported Agriculture, where small time farms cooperate to reach local customers directly and create subscribers.

How can communities defeat the "industrial onslaught of extraction"? Their only weak point is having to corrupt governments, while community businesses are vulnerable with: individuals, funding, disasters, access to markets, volatility of markets, and on and on.

I think generally focusing on sustainable, local things helps. But it's a tough problem
