It is hard to care about anything in Detroit or anything their rich families do ever since the summer of floyd. Watching that bitch ford heiress bend the knee let's me know all I need to assess their commitment to order. As long as they don't offend a certain demographic that still calls the shots after coleman young helped destroyed the city.

I had a co-worker who lived in downtown Detroit. His nice neighborhood was patrolled by armored vehicles to keep out the riff-raff. While this sounds dystopian, it's only getting better, and such "green zones" are expanding.

There is hope Detroit becomes a jewel again in 50 years.

Great and insightful article. I’ve pondered a potential outcome of AI’s advent would be a return to feudalism, especially with the concentration of wealth in fewer hands and AI accelerating this. Also, I looked up “Green Zone Detroit” to visualize where this protected zone is and it referred me to places in Detroit where weed could be sold haha.
