Here is one more that ties in with what You have addressed here:

EXCERPT:

".....The logic behind these character assassinations make it inescapably clear that the Left will not be satisfied until every white figure who doesn’t pass their “progressive” scrutiny is cleansed from the Southern culture and American culture too. How much truth must be sacrificed to mold history to fit a single strain of a prevailing political ideology?

Mitch Landrieu and Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh and many other Democrats, along with some misguided and ill-informed “conservatives” say that these men don’t deserve to be honored. Who does then?

President McKinley had fought against “Stonewall” Jackson, as a teenager, in the Shenandoah. McKinley was at Antietam, the bloodiest single-day battle of the Civil War; and at the start of the Spanish-American War, when Southern volunteers and former Confederate soldiers paraded through Atlanta to fight for a united America, McKinley removed his hat and stood for the singing of ‘Dixie’.

Nearly half of the fifty-five members of the Constitutional Convention owned slaves or facilitated the slave trade. Is anything associated with Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and other Founders now considered to be immoral too?

Are Americans really going to allow more monuments to be torn down? Are Americans going to sandblast Stone Mountain Confederate Monument and even Mount Rushmore, sandblasting away our American Heritage? I say “NO”.

Left unrestrained, the radicals of this nation will attempt to purge and destroy every vestige of anything remotely associated with any slaveholder. Our Constitution and even our Declaration of Independence have long been under their assaults, because both were written by white men and slave-owners, and these amended documents halt their own authoritarian agenda. They would scrap these documents altogether if they could, placing them in the dustbin of history and divesting them of honor. (Source)

A history hidden away and purged is a half-truth and a lie, no history at all. America’s sins in slavery are despicable, abominable and dark, however, Her inalienable rights that served as the mechanism to end slavery are virtues to be praised, brilliant as a rising sun."

Y'All might find this of some interest:

EXCERPT:

"..... Some of these leftists and Democrats are just as evil, if not more so, as the most evil slave traders in American history. They claim to be fighting "white supremacy" and the racism it perpetrated, but in return, they offer black and brown supremacy, intolerance, racism, and hate directed at white people in general. They embrace an anti-American ideology that leads to the abuses and slavery they claim to despise – the "re-education camps" and the gulags – as they foist their fractured fairy tales upon all America. They are the very monsters they claim to fight.

The long road to freedom is being deconstructed. The road to civil war is being paved. ....."

One in four military age, Southern boys and men died in the war of 1860 - 1861. Historian Philip Leigh extrapolated the proportional comparison to the entire US today, and the figure equals 23 million! Imagine if we were to suffer 23,000, 000 dead in four years of fratricidal war!

The wounded, including many ghastly maimed for life, was about the same number as the dead.

That’s roughly half the South’s military aged men who were killed or wounded in four years.

Of course, the South would want to memorialize such a horrific, heart crushing sacrifice.

A large number of the surviving soldiers returned to ruined homes, farms, towns and cities. The economy was shattered. Nearly everyone was made poor, if not prostrate. The ante bellum South was the wealthiest section of the country. Devastated by the brutal invasion and war on her soil, the post bellum South was made the poorest section in the USA, and would remain so until the 1960’s. That is, for another century!

Local and state governments were rendered dysfunctional by the war and aftermath, as often as not. Lawlessness was rampant. Food, clothing, shelter, and medical care were in short supply. Nearly one million Southerners died of starvation or malnutrition-related maladies during the Reconstruction horror. Reconstruction policies poorly disguised the vengeful intent. The result figuratively and literally added fuel to fires.

Yet, as Reconstruction ended and the South began slowly to get to her knees and then to her feet in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, they were finally able to afford memorials appropriate to the great sacrifices felt by every family. Many of whom, were still actively grieving. So many of these memorials were/are beautiful and moving works of art, as fine as any on Earth. Looking at them, one can feel both pride and pathos, respect and reverence of those who erected the monuments to love, loss and courage.

The Arlington Reconciliation Memorial is a splendid example. No civilized person should want it destroyed.

But, it seems Reconstruction did not end. Tho defeated on the battlefield at horrendous costs of life and limb, her land and homes, towns and cities ravaged and burned, her economy shattered and laid low and her people impoverished for a hundred years, her people ridiculed and demeaned in popular culture on the screen, in haughty academe and elsewhere, her traditions mocked and disparaged, her beauties and honors denied … the Warrens and Seidules, other useful idiots and cultural fascists are, incredibly, not satisfied. No, the South is not yet defeated nor punished enough. They insist that the heart of the South, including her sacred memories of her dead (!) must be also destroyed, all of her and all related to her, especially her past, must be ground to dust and forbidden to even be discussed.

The erasurists claim it’s their hatred of slavery that makes them feverishly foam and twitch, lie and defame. But an examination of the historical record, shows their histrionics to be outsized to the facts and context of the short lived Confederacy.

So, what is really driving them?

A cursory glance at their other self righteous causes tells the tale. Personal honor and political sovereignty are their true fears and their enemy. The idea that a Free People can not be bound to a would be omnipotent government, against their will, for all time, no matter what … is lethal to totalitarians, including especially, the self righteous, coercive utopians from Boston to Davos to Chicago to Seattle to D. C..

Adm. Raphael Semmes, CSA, commenting during the Reconstruction powers’ attempt to forbid families from decorating the graves of their Confederate fallen, quoted from an African proverb: “Live asses will kick at dead lions.”

Complaining about antisemitism is a bit silly given Jewish involvement in everything this Substack stands against. Most that can be said against the left on this is they're antisemitic for all the wrong reasons.
