What an exceptional conversation! It's hard to put into words my sense of intellectual alignment as you unpacked Bitcoins actual value proposition as opposed to its propagandised proposition. A return match would be great, so many more gems down this rabbit hole.
Indeed there was. I just fixed it, thanks for pointing it out
It looks like there was a corruption of the edited version of the file, but the original was fine, so I had missed the issue. My apologies for that, it is now fixed
Great convo. One of my biggest issues with the crypto world is the obsessive mistrust of everyone and everything. I get not trusting sprawling government overreach and institutions creeping into our lives and wallets/vaults. But at some level we are going to need to trust fellow community members, friends, and the sort if the community itself is to further grow. Not suggesting to leave your passwords, whatever out in the public but if one was to leave, say, $1k in cash in your wallet on a table at your friends house would you really expect them to steal it? What about $1mil? Answer is probably no (or at least you need new friends if it is yes). Anyways, great pod and really got me thinking/hoping for the first time that there could be a future for crypto/bitcoin IRL communities.
Very happy we had this conversation 🤝
Had a great time! Thanks for coming on

Thanks!
I enjoyed listening to this conversation, but at 24:05 the audio disappears. Is there a problem in the file?
